This is the Digital Citizenship Assignment blog. Every day/week you will find key information and reminders about classroom assignments on these blog entries. I will do my absolute best to keep this updated and relevant. You will visit the assignment blog every day the minute you get seated and begin reading about your assignment for the day.

Today is the first day of class and we will be going over the basic layout of Weebly (the web program we will be using to publish on the internet), and how to begin working on your website. We will start with themes, fonts, photos, and initial publishing. Before we get to any of that though, please do the assignment below.

What is the internet? What is it for?

I believe that the internet is a place to get creative with yourself and other people. It's a great resource for people wth questions and wonderings about the world, people and things. It's a great way to be technologically creative for not just yourself, but others that share interests with you.

The internet is for ideas, questions, and people that just want to learn. It's a multi-complex thing that can help your brain be like the internet.

I think the internet is a place is a tool used by many people all around the world to look up research, play games, conatct someone, read, do homework, check your mail,or watch videos (etc.). It amazes me how multi-talented the internet is. It is a search engine where you type anything, and in a matter of seconds,(depending on your wi-fi connection) you get links to websites made by people to help you research, give you games to play, or links to videos that interest you. There is no teeling what the internet can tell you. When you use the internet, a big weight has been lifted off your shoulders. You no longer have to use books to get your information. The internet is a great 21st century thing that can do anything for anyone. It is a new technological way to research anything and everything.

I think the internet is for people to learn new things and they can also use a website called youtube where they can watch some videos to help them with there homework.They can also see videos that khan acadamy shows them to get ready for there next gradeso like for excample if a kid was going in to 7th grade she/he will make an acount for that and then they can start practiceing for 7th grade.The internet is also helpful because kids who need to do there homework can get information on like for excample if a girl lets say had to look on reserch for gorillas she can look at the internet and serch gorillas and she will get info she can also look at some books at the libaryif he needs to.

I belive that the internet is for social meadia and to get help on your homework and also to get help for their research project for excample if a girl is reseching about pugs and needs to reserch what they need to do. Also there are some websites such as Khan acadamy , Youtube and i belive so many more. Like what you can do on Khan Acadamy is that if a kid is going in to 3rd grade and they want to get ready for the new school year they can ask their family memebers to help them create an acount, Also people can make some social mida like for excample Instagram, Twitter, Facebook , and so many more but that could also be bad because that could lead to cyberbulling or to getting you personal information.It could also be for downloading some games such as minecraft and Yandere simulater. Or it could let you get to websites to watch movies for free and also for playing games

the internt is a website that alows you to research about almost anything.The Intrent is Used for research for your home work and it is also used to make websites and games . the intrent is usally used bye by people that make games or people that that make websites that will help people learn or will teach outhes how tho make a website. the internt is should not be used to make video games because thats why we have video games.the internet should be used tofor reaserch ,work,and theaching outhres.

what is my problem the interint should be used for education and research. But most people use the internet for business or intertamint. I personle use the interint for homework (khan academy) but i also use for intertimanint. the internet also used by people who make games or websites. I wonder why people use the interint for viedo games thats why we have ps4 or xbox360 or wiiu.the interint also allows you to to go on search browers like chrome or fire fox. I understand why some people use the interint for entertiamnt becasue they could have kids and the kids couyld get borad so they could go on youtube. The interint should be used for education, business, work and teaching others, and entreatment.

the internet is for learning and responsible things like technical home work and some times for a little bit of fun. Don't get too carried away by how much knowledge the internet know. The internet is not for things that could turn out like a insult to somebody for example cyberbulling. Not Excepted. You can use the internet to chat with your friends on a any social site. The internet is for doing research on class work and home work. Don't worry if you think that if the internet is so smart then you might think that it might be controlled by a bad guy that is trying to get you distracted so he can do something bad to you. The internet is basically very smart and should know just about everything because why should people use if it doesn't have the information that you want.

The internet is for responsible work. There are many search engines on the internet for example, there is google and yahoo but these are just 2 but there are many more. You can make websites using html and css sites. You can also watch videos on a site called youtube and there there are videos about everything. Some bad people to bad things to people on the internet for example, people might do cyberbullying which means that some body is puting embarrasing videos or photos on the internet world wide and it is most likely if you are getting cyberbullied and you are in a school you will probably get bullied unless every one at your school is are nice people. Games are also fun on the computer but some people hack into the game and like ask you your personal stuff like name address and phone number so they can locate you and do some thing bad to you.

The internet is a resource that people use to gather informathin about all sorts of things. We can use it to visit web pages and look things up. The internet is used by other computers by recieving the "website code" that it uses to transfer into other computers. It gets sent from satellites which make the receiver accept it.
The internet is used for all sorts of things such as, websites, advertisments, blogs, and games. This also starts getting into the way people decide to use the internet. Some people use the internet as a way to use it negative.

In my opinion, the internet is a web browser that several people can use for multiple purposes. For instance the internet can be used for research, video calls, the web browser, and to visit other websites.
In particular, now that I have experienced a sense of how the internet works with the actual code, I have come to think that to make a webpage as a beginner is not that easy as it first seems, but once you get to learn more actual code, then it just becomes an easy human thing for you. It is just a simple thing that comes to you, once you know what you are actually doing like learning the CSS and html.
There are a lot of things that go in the internet, and how it is used in these days. Many people use the internet for a good purpose, but unfortunately, some other people don't think the same ways, and use the internet for other negative purposes. Furthermore, I think the internet is a way for the people in society, or all around the world to de several things, meaning they have a lot of options. The internet is where you can browse through web pages (even web pages that you can make) and also, it is an open opportunity for other people to look up what they need and what they want.

The Internet is a place where there are many things like links to go to a page. Also its a place where people search anything they need like in Google and Yahoo. People need it to do many things. Homework, work and projects. It is useful to find information for other things. You can watch videos, play games and type. One of the most important thing of the internet is that you can do anything you want and sometimes the internet helps you with the things you need.
The internet is mostly smart and maybe should know what you want to search or do. The internet is very huge that every computer in the world. The Internet is getting bigger this year and in the future, maybe the internet will do even more than it does today.

To me the internet is for a way to have fun , reseach, contact some one, and just to play around with. to me this would be the way I would talk to my sister when she goes to college. This way I can talk to her as she is in college.If it weren't for the internet the way we can talk would be different. That a way to talk to.

Now what I think about the internet is it is a place to do work or mess around. But it can also be a seriuos place. It can be a messing around place because you can play games, watch videos, and just to relax. It can be a place to work as well. Some people make a living on the internet. Youtubers, coders and other people work on the internet to make a living. Some people need it to keep in touch. Like face time, video call and texting are some ways to stay in contact with some one you love that is far away. The internet is also a place for opportunities.

That video explains that people have impacted our world virtually and in real life in many, many ways. The video was talking about how later on in the years, the human knowledge and technology will develop more, and become more advanced. It also talked how people spend thier time every second using social media, buliding new things, and using the interent to come up with new ideas.
